Restaurant Critic

Sholto is a long-standing restaurant critic of the London dining scene. From 1990-1995, he reviewed restaurants and interviewed key culinary figures for the monthly publication, Boardroom Magazine, distributed to over 200,000 residential and commercial properties in central London.

Between 1996 and 2016, Sholto was the London Editor the Zagat Restaurant Survey, during which time he wrote and edited over 10,000 restaurant reviews and commentaries for Zagat Survey, and then for Google after they bought the Zagat surveying and publishing business for $151 million in 2011.
